So on Tuesday, Moving Brands announced their “most exciting innovation project yet”: Firebrands.

It’s currently in beta stage, but it sure looks like good stuff. So what is it exactly?

Firebrands is a real-time, global brand ranking tool. While traditional annual brand ranking reports are out of date 364 days a year, Firebrands measures how brands are connecting with their audiences every hour, of every day.

Is this the future of brand aggregation? Up until now, well there isn’t really such a thing. I mean, Brand New and Brands of theWorld are both good sources for such things, but neither are any sort of hierarchy, they’re just resources. I for one am really excited to see what MB make of this.
