This has to be one of the most innovative uses of advertising so far in 2010. The interactive poster is the largest digital wall in Europe, measuring in at a wapping 206 metres wide. The ‘talking’ wall interacts with passers by, controlled by a team of creatives sitting in a building across the street. As people and drivers pass the advert, the creatives type up targeted messages that promote Virgin Trains quickest ever route from Liverpool to London. What’s more, they can control the movement of a massive cursor which draws the attention of the nearby public. An engaging and playful big idea that cut’s through and makes people take note. The concept was the brain child of Elvis communications, estimated to have been seen by about 980,000 pedestrians and 560,000 motorists. Lets have more of this please!
